Father-Son Campout

This past weekend Keeper took the boys...yes both of them...to the Father-Son Campout. Keeper came home saying they had a good time but it was harder than he thought it would be. Is it bad to say that did my heart good? If he came home and was like oh that's super easy and I don't know why you say it's hard with all 3, etc...now that would be a big blow. But to have him come home and say it was hard made me feel like I have a reason to be tired everyday.
Anyway, they swam and ate and just had a good time and that's about all Keeper told me. Then at the end he mentions that there was one mishap but it wasn't a big deal. Parker fell in the deep water with all his clothes on. He was fished out immediately and was just fine. At this point I was thinking ok...don't flip out. Keeper was right there. It could've happened to anyone. At least he's okay. Then along comes Parker. He cleared up the story a little. He was shining his flashlight in the water and fell in. Then "some guy" got him out of the water. Ok, so who was this "some guy" Parker was talking about? Keeper told me after that that Bro. Rawlins from our ward was the hero. Thank goodness he was there. Keeper was torn between staying at the campsite with Carson and going to the river with Parker as he took off after the big kids that were heading down there. Keeper was on his way after Parker and looking back at Carson. He turned to look at Parker and saw the whole thing but was still a little ways away. Lets just say I am so grateful that there was an adult right there to grab my little boy. Parker is such a sweetheart but does love to be in on all the action. It's amazing how kids can just get away from you...especially wild little boys like Park.
All in all the campout went good and they all had fun. We are going to go as a family soon so me and Camy can be in on the fun. Hopefully next time there aren't any mishaps.

The kids all watching Jordan Tourtillott play his NintendoDS. Now that's roughing it!
