Poor Carson

On Saturday evening Carson came down with a fever. It got to be really high so we were borderlined taking him to the ER. The meds worked so we didn't but Sunday was just as scary. Keeper had to teach Sunday School and I had to teach Young Womens. Keeper took Parker and I stayed home with Carson and Camy. I decided that I would drive up at the end of Sunday School and we would trade and Keeper could take the little ones home. After Keeper left I got in the shower and Carson was watching Diego (not the usual but when you are sick you get whatever you want.) I came out and Carson was alseep in a weird position so I moved him and he woke up but was acting really weird. His movements were all jerky and he wasn't really responding but he was looking at me. His eyes were kinda glassy looking too. I got so scared! I called the doctor and she said it's better to be safe than sorry. My mom said that too. With the opinion of those two I knew I needed to do something. So, with the other teacher taking the Beehives for me, we were off to the Urgent Care Clinic. Of course when we get there he is actually acting normal and starting to ask for food. We had him be seen anyway and he has 2 ear infections again. The nurse practitioner was also very impressed with the size of his tonsils. Now he is on antibiotics again. He is going to see the pediatric ENT in July (the soonest they could get him in.) Maybe this time the doctor will think that he needs his tonsils out. He said the if Carson got another ear infection in the next 2 months to schedule another appointment. It's been less than a month and he has 2. Poor baby! Hopefully we can get all this taken care of.

First Zoo Trip

We went to the zoo for the first time this summer and the kids loved it! They have a new black jaguar that Parker thought was awesome! Carson loved the water the best! Camy was just along for the ride. I liked the picnic lunch we had while we watched the little monkeys mess around. It kept everyone entertained. It was the first time I had tackled the zoo by myself with all the kids. ( I know, I know...I sound like a wimp but I was a little worried.) All in all it turned out pretty good. We had our moments but it was still fun. Definitely something we could do again.

.31 ice cream

We have been trying to do better at keeping a budget so I have really gotten into finding good deals or free food. I heard about 31 cent ice cream night a Baskin Robbins and of course we were there. Keeper had to work so my parents came to help wrestle the crew. It was so fun! The kids had a blast and Camy tasted ice cream for the first time. She thought it was awesome! Here are the pics from it.

Nice beard, Cakes!

Yum!

Look at that face!

The whole crew except for me and Camy

The boys had a blast playing with grandma after they were done. They thought it was awesome!

Father-Son Campout

This past weekend Keeper took the boys...yes both of them...to the Father-Son Campout. Keeper came home saying they had a good time but it was harder than he thought it would be. Is it bad to say that did my heart good? If he came home and was like oh that's super easy and I don't know why you say it's hard with all 3, etc...now that would be a big blow. But to have him come home and say it was hard made me feel like I have a reason to be tired everyday.
Anyway, they swam and ate and just had a good time and that's about all Keeper told me. Then at the end he mentions that there was one mishap but it wasn't a big deal. Parker fell in the deep water with all his clothes on. He was fished out immediately and was just fine. At this point I was thinking ok...don't flip out. Keeper was right there. It could've happened to anyone. At least he's okay. Then along comes Parker. He cleared up the story a little. He was shining his flashlight in the water and fell in. Then "some guy" got him out of the water. Ok, so who was this "some guy" Parker was talking about? Keeper told me after that that Bro. Rawlins from our ward was the hero. Thank goodness he was there. Keeper was torn between staying at the campsite with Carson and going to the river with Parker as he took off after the big kids that were heading down there. Keeper was on his way after Parker and looking back at Carson. He turned to look at Parker and saw the whole thing but was still a little ways away. Lets just say I am so grateful that there was an adult right there to grab my little boy. Parker is such a sweetheart but does love to be in on all the action. It's amazing how kids can just get away from you...especially wild little boys like Park.
All in all the campout went good and they all had fun. We are going to go as a family soon so me and Camy can be in on the fun. Hopefully next time there aren't any mishaps.

The kids all watching Jordan Tourtillott play his NintendoDS. Now that's roughing it!

photo shoot...

I've been wanting to take a picture of Camy in a tutu with no shirt. Don't ask me why, I just did. I finally got around to it and they turned out really cute (in my opinion anyway.) The boys wanted in on the fun and really liked making faces at the camera. We had a lot of fun and got some cute pics.

Parker...

Parker says some of the funniest things! Yesterday he said two things that had me rolling. First off, Carson was carrying Keeper's Harry Potter book around the house. (He was looking pretty cute doing it, I might add.) Parker wanted it so he tried taking it. As brotherly love goes Carson fought him and screamed. Parker ended up with it and said, "Carson, look...it's a boring daddy book. It has no pictures. It's just a boring daddy book. You don't want this." I thought that was so funny. He got what he wanted by reasoning with a 2 year old. Way to go Parker!
The second thing was last night. I was down stairs trying to get Camy to sleep before I put the boys in bed. They were upstairs reading books before bed. (You like how I make my kids read their own bedtime stories.) Well, I finally got Camy down and headed upstairs to get the boys in bed. I told them that we needed to go brush teeth so they both jumped off the couch (literally) and started towards the bathroom. Parker took about two steps and stopped and looked at me weird and grabbed his pants at his bum. I asked him what was wrong. He looked at me with a concerned look and said, "my underwears are taped to my bum." Nice Park! I had to really hold back the laughing on that one. What a kid.

Finally I have a blog!!!

So I've looked for every excuse to not have a blog because I just thought it would be a lot of work and people would think I was lame because I never updated it. Well, you all will probably end up thinking I'm lame and get bored with this but I'm doing one anyway. Where else will the cutest kids in the world be shown off?!
